A lovely photo but it is incorrectly labeled. This structure is not a part of the blockhouse. This structure was a part of the umbilical support system of the vehicle. It sits about 45 yards north northeast of the launch pedestal. The blockhouse sits approximately 350 yards southwest of the launch pedestal. Its blast door sits on the side of the building away from the pad so as to provide maximum protection in the event of an explosion. There is no entrance to the blockhouse that affords a view of the launch pad.
Sorry, I was using the term generically. Sometimes I forget that they used to put the launch control close to the pad and refer to it as the blockhouse.
