Gorgeous image and cathedral, David, but where are all the people? In the confessionals? Have you visited with TrikerMike? Are you still abroad, or have you returned to NC? Snoopy, aren't I? Safe travels (O:
Thank you Suzi I am now safely back in the USA. This was a Saturday in a city know for its drinking and shopping. They are not famous for churchgoing I guess.
Thanks DJ this is blended in Photomatix and then processed in LR4.3 hence it does not look HDRish. I do not use Photomatix for tone mapping, just exposure stacking.
Best wishes to you both and again, many thanks - David
I have never seen St Nicks so bright!!
B4 my wheelchair, I oft went to lunch in chantry here.... interesting info re this CofE cathedral, it used to be RC long ago & inside the font cover is a carving of the crucifiction, missed by raiders against catholicism
Another smashing interior shot David, and I am pleased to see the Geordie seat builders had better spirit levels.
Mike I will check my other images and see.if I saw the crucifixion, I guess its bright due to the 8 or 9 images stack I used. I am glad it brought back good memories.
Thank you Keith for a fine compliment. I must revisit the st Bees picture and see what I can do about it.
Best wishes both David
