The quebec and canadian government refuses to replant the forst. The farmers have vast stretch of land that are no more suitable for farming. They could help the farmers wil small sums to replant. Instead, they give large sums of money to big industrial companies, who do not replant very much. Small is beautifull and everywhere. Imagine the potential, if money was given to farmers to plant some trees, instead of increasing the profit of big corporation.
