This is the russian spacecraft Buran (OK-GLI/BTS-02) on its transit from Bahrain to the Technikmuseum Speyer in Germany. The empennage of the spacecraft has been dismounted for the transport.

The spacecraft has been moved to Sydney as an attraction during the summer olympics in 2000. After that it has been transported to Bahrain, where it has been stored behind a depot at the habour. You can see it in Google Earth or Google Maps at 26° 11' 54" N, 50° 36' 08" E. From there it has been tranpsorted by ship via Gulf of Aman, Suez Canal and Strait of Gibraltar to Rotterdam. In Rotterdam it has been reloaded on a barge for the transit to Speyer on the Rhine.
