You're blessed for all these trips around the world. Should write a book about it, or just fill it with all those great shots. :)
I'm curious, how many countries have you been, my friend?
Greetings from Brazil!
Indeed that is true, Leo. I have had many wonderful opportunities for travel, in each of my professional roles. As a peacebuilder I have been into some of the world's more difficult locations. I believe the tally of countries that I have been to is 48... and none of these are in Latin America. Yet. I hope I can keep the dream alive a little longer! Our recent visit to some European cities was just wonderful.
Warmest regards from Queensland,
Muchas gracias por sus amables comentarios mis imágenes.
Esta es na magnífica fotografía.
Saludos cordiales desde Argentina, _Chaydeé _
This is also a great picture of one of my favourite places to look for birds and colouful boats Ian. LIKE!
The location is correct, you've remembered it well.
After a second look I have my doubts Ian, did you maybe cross that bridge? Then the location is at the other site of the Middelvliet. Greetings Berend
I was using the 300mm lens and was therefore back a bit along the dijk on the left side but the foreshortening makes it look like it is taken from the right side. So I am glad I am at the right place.
With my head and lens out the window all the time, and with no map on my lap, I wasn't really sure where I was, so I would be pleased if you kept checking my locations, please!!
Thanks for those few hours of exploring together among some of your favourite haunts!!
Thank you Chaydeé for your friendship and sharing of photos. Thanks for the praise above. I am delighted that you like the image.
Nice, well composed shot. * I like *.
I appreciate your encouragement, Kalev.
I like the colorful boats very much dear Ian. It is a very elegan and very nice Picture.
Best greetings. Fü
I really loved being there, dear Fü.
We only had about a day in Netherlands but the weather was perfect and so was the local Panoramio guide! The colourful boats and the bridge over the canal were so Dutch that I felt we were long way away from the rest of Europe. I loved every moment we were there. The red and white barrier helps to finish the picture, but it also seemed to be a warning to mad pomegranates to be careful and not end up in deep water!
Warmest regards and lots of love from Imbil.
