Back in the days I also visited this temple. I never knew you could walk up the hill?!? Interesting.

Yes, it can be walked, but it is not a real "hill", but more like a natural "wall" or crest between this temple and the real Valley of the Kings. At one end of the valley (opposite to the entrance), there is a way up, then you walk at the top of the crest, above the Hatchepsoot's temple, to the other side, where the path descends to this temple.

Observing the horn of Africa and it's outer islands, I saw what looked to be a lighthouse and a small white house next to it. My question ... is there a human presence at this location ?
