Interesting sign... I wonder how long it took for someone to remove this sign from the road and plant it overnight in front of the local vet's house? ;)

Thanks for sharing this, Ian!

Cheers, Justin

It's just wonderful! The sign and the pun! It took me few seconds to understand, but it helped that we also have road 'cat eyes'. Thank you for sharing this joke, Ian!

And Justin, your idea is also marvellous! Thanks!

Greetings, Mira

Dear Mira,

I am delighted that humour can be translated from one language to another and be understood cross-culturally. Thanks for making contact.

And Justin, it is a prank that tourists would enjoy, but I am not sure it would be appreciated by the locals, not even the vet in this case.

I am responding to this from Tonga, where I am enjoying some photography at the end of each day, and which i will be able to share when I am back home in July.

Kind regards to you both,

Ian

Ian, I'm quite sure the vet wouldn't enjoy that prank, although I think he or she is safe - I'm personally not aware of any tourists who move roadsigns, Í thought that was more of a local sport. (Although I don't indulge in it; I just take pictures of strange signs I encounter :) )

Enjoy your time in Tonga, quite an exotic place to be I imagine!

Kind regards, Justin

Hello Ian,

I am so glad that I met you! I am sure that you enjoy photo opportunities in Tonga. Must be an incredible experience, can't wait for you to be back and share new photos. And, of course, some more humour! That universal language of humankind.

Greetings

Mira
