Funtor, I want to thank you for such nice comments of my photos. The Trinity Church is one of the most important buildings in the development of American architecture. It established Henry Hobson Richardson international reputation, with his "Richardsonian Romanesque" style. It was founded in 1733 and is still a working parish of approximately 4,000 households. In 1885 architects voted Trinity the most important building in America. Over a Hundred years later in is still ranked top ten with the American Institute of Architects. It is a true treasure. The glass building on the right, is the (new) John Hancock Building. Designed by Pei, who also designed the John Fitgerald Kennedy Library. It is a sight to behold. They stand across from the Bay to each other but the placement and angles, the light is brilliant when it reflects on the ocean, what a photo op. The building to the right of the Hancock building is the Old Hancock building. I beleive the Trinity Chuch has a web sight. www.Trinitychurch.com I am going to take your advice on my Switzerland photo and enter the contest. Keep up the good work, Mary Alice
