Thanks Nicolas, glad you liked it. I was sad to leave Tordouet, a beautiful peaceful place with quiet roads, great for safe cycling with my children. Wish I could go back there soon.

If you come back in Normandy, i hope you could visit Bernay. There's a great place for safe cycling with your children between Bernay and Broglie " La voie Vert" it's an unused railway. easy safe and really beautiful.

Thanks, I did go through Bernay on the way to Paris by train and when we went to Rouen, and I liked the look of the place, but then I liked all I saw of Normandy. There are a lot of cycleways in England but none in my area without using very busy roads. Tordouet was perfect in that there was very little traffic and lots of side roads, also the hills were not too steep for the children. We could cycle straight from the house and be straight into beautiful countryside.
