This building is obviously old and very striking. Whether the marker inside gold tablet on the gable is accurate I do not know. It has "1619" etched into it and the style could well be of that era. It sits just behind the Igreja de Humaita and houses a restaurant. The wrap around shaded area is refuge in which to rest the eyes and have a cool drink or food.
Bonitas cores e detalhes.
It is a very interesting old building and appeared to be a popular eating spot with the traditional seafood dishes. I've just loaded a more detailed view of the building I found more interesting than the church and forts in the area.
You are around the world !!!
I invite you to visit he cities where i live and another where I was born:
Vitória da Conquista
Not so much around the world as years ago. Then I was all over, now once in a while a trip. Lately it has been back to the Northeast to visit my wife's family.
I had not been to Salvador in almost forty years when I returned in 2007 taking the bus from Alagoas down to Salvador. I found I liked the city as much as before, perhaps even more because the city seems to have new life. I particularly enjoyed the music and often play Margareth Menezes for a lift.
É uma visão espetacular da arquitetura, parabéns pelo registro. F1 Saudações e tenha um FELIZ ANO 2012 com muitas realizações e muitas fotos, de Dourados - Mato Grosso do Sul - Brasil
