Thanks Snapperz. It is true, and I have the photos to prove it, but they are from my pre-digital days. My first visits to Halifax were in the early months of 1978 and we had a wonderful snowfall on my very first night, so I was up and out with the camera and received some precious images from the top of the scarp east of Halifax looking across to Wainhouse Tower and up towards Mixenden. One in particular I was able to publish.

Calderdale is a special place, summer or winter.
