Washington's Congressional Cemetery is both historic and now a quiet place to stroll. It was in large part saved from decline and crime by Capitol Hill dog walkers who now help with maintenance (http://www.cemeterydogs.org). The details of the cemetery, including maps, may be seen at the Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery web page (http://www.congressionalcemetery.org/). From that web page:
There are 19 Senators and 71 Representatives interred at Congressional Cemetery and monuments to honor 120 other members of congress who died in office. 150 of the sites are marked by these monuments which were designed by Benjamin Latrobe.
The cubes with white marble insets in the foreground are Latrobe monuments.
