In June 2005 Warwick Castle became home to one of the worlds largest siege engines. Made in Wiltshire it is 18 metres tall, weighs 24 tons and is made up of 300 pieces of oak. On 21st August 2006 the Trebuchet claimed the record for a catapult of its type by firing a 13kg projectile 249 metres! And not a lot of people know that!!!
