when we visited Moraine lake the cloud covered all that beautifull scenery, but when you travel you can't find always the nicest light to katch a souvenir photo, like this one
That's so true my friend. However, next time you are in Banff, let me know. I live nearby. We shall go out and shoot some interesting light at some interesting location ...
This is one of those pictures that has it all. Congratulations on your whole selection.
Thank you Ricardo and Hank for your kind words.
you have the touch. congrat!
Thank you Alex, much appreciated!
Such a turquoise water behind beautiful pine trees surrounded by spectacular rocky snowy mountains. I love it!
I want to go there!!!
Thank you for your comments Karolina and judeoliver.
Is this the true color of this lake? That's extraordinary!
WellshMutt, yes, it is the true color. And indeed, it makes me wonder every time I go there. Just unreal. The color of the lake is changing throughout the year from darker blue to a milky light blue. During the summer, melted water from surrounding glaciers carries miniature "dirt" particles into the lake. Turquoise color reflects on these particles and hence the color of the lake . . .
Hi Lukas, Very nice picture of an glacial lake. The color is normal for all lakes near glaciers also here in Norway. Greeatings
Amazing! Pure and wonderful capture, the water is a color like I've never seen it.
Wonderful outlook! Absolutely great!
Úžasné, prekrásne, z toho miesta som mal obrázok dlho na monitore ako plochu. Dávnejšie asi pred 10 rokmi, ale z iného miesta. Vďaka za znovupriblíženie.
Very picture.Absolutely great !!
