I dress up as Mortimers Miller in an 18th century millers smock (like a ladys dress) & silly hat and show visitors how my mill works every sunday April 1st to Sept 30th.On the weekend of the 3rd saturday every june we have an annual coraclers gathering.A coracle is a one person boat.Competitors come from all over the world to race the Millers Mile Coracle Challenge against the stop watch. There are world records in fibreglass and hide and canvas covered coracles. The Millers Mile may be the official Coracle race in the 2012 Olympics. There again,it may not.....

We have a web page on the SPAB mills site (spabmills.org.uk under mills open to visitors) I would like to add your picture of Mortimers Cross mill to that page, (with an attribution. May I have your permission, please?)
