This isn't "near" Canajoharie-it's actually IN Canajoharie and many of us here are quite fond of it!!! By the way, it's called a dummy light because it sits in the middle of the road. (what else would you call something sitting in the middle of the road?!)

If I remember correctly, the light is only one of two like that still operating in the United States. I believe the other one is located in Beacon, New York. It's been awhile, but I remember seeing that light changing from red to yellow before turning to green. Of course, it works like all others today.
