Very nice composition. I have some similar shots but nothing this creative. Congratulations! Tom

You are tooooo modest, knowing your photos. I will visit your San Xavier folder. Thank you for the praise! -alicia

I agree with TRingold Alicia.

This readily identifiable image could hardly be mistaken. I do not understand the decision to deselect this superb and unique photo. They are inconsistant too, take a look at the sunset entitled 'Smelter' on my front page, and the similar photo titled 'Sunburst' for instance. There is hardly a recognisable feature to be seen yet it is accepted.

I love this and it deserves to be praised.

Cheers Alicia.

Thank you so much, Jim - you reinforce how I felt when I saw this wasn't selected, but.....such is panoramio life. You are correct re- their inconsistancy, and I will take a look at your photos. I've noticed it with other photos of mine as well as others, and it makes me wonder about the selection process. What is more important to me, though, are the comments and sharing that comes from posting and visiting photos. While that little blue dot would be nice, all of the connections that have arisen in panoramio are something I won't ever forget. Blue dots and GE may go by the wayside some day. You've made me feel wonderful with your praise - thank you again. -alicia

Tjarko I actually see your comment here - maybe panoramio is working now - ;~) This was one of those moments when light and subject all came together. Thank you for your visits and all of your kind comments. Regards from alicia

(please excuse my Spanish - I feel the translation is inadequate - but amusing ;) Saludo -alicia
