Very good observed and taken Ian. Greetings Berend

All this was new to me, Berend. It had been sop long between my visits to London, that some of the areas I knew once were completely reconstructed. And this area was one of them. I remember driving through Vauxhall in a pea-soup fog one night years ago, and it wasn't like this at all! And what a difference!

The last time we're in London was in 1990 Ian and that was for one day. Then it was very different for me since 1969, the year I spent 10 days in swinging London. Greetings Berend

You have surprised me, Berend, for I assumed that being the traveller you are, that you may have visited London more often than that. Our recent 'long weekend' there, was a real joy, and the weather was very kind to us.

Regards,

Ian

Hello my friend Ian, how are you? I'm with too much work and can´t be watching and commenting as years before but retire is next... Like this view and the buildings behind... My very best wishes, Ed

Thank you, Ed. I continue to upload as I travel whether for work or pleasure. That and responding to those who comment is about as much as my time allows. However, I really must put more time into maintaining the precious relationships that we have developed through Pano. So thank you especially for your contact. I think of you more often than you would realise - there are so many prompts: modern architecture, Methodism, football, tennis, and anything to do with southern parts of Latin America...etc.

Thanks too for the news that you intend to retire next year. I hope that leaves you with time for your many interests and for travel. Travel? You are welcome here in our home!

Dear Ian, as I felt from the bed(don't know if you use this expression for waking up too early) I can read slowly and enjoy your answer... I have the best memories of our long chats, maybe some day we can sit beside one of those magnificent places of your country and talk for a long while... Honoured with your invitation! Warmest wishes, Ed
