The native grass trees (Xanthorrhoea preissi) are showing about a foot of new growth since a bushfire 26 days earlier, on 26 March 2008. This image was taken 21 April on the northern slope of wireless hill, facing in a southwesterly direction.

The Google Earth default description says Applecross is in NSW, but it's actually in Western Australia. They've been notified of the error.
