Let's go to enjoy the underwater world! (Nishi-hama beach, Hateruma island).

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Welcome to HATERUMA ISLAND 波照間島!

This Hateruma island, Nishi-hama beach are beaches of the transparency of the best. And we can enjoy a rich coral reef without a difficulty.

For example, why is it that this island is not introduced by lonely planet and Michelin Guide?

The answer is transportation (ship) and a numerical problem of Bet of the staying.

The high-speed ship(ISHIGAKI ISLAND-HATERUMA ISLAND:1hour30min) of the 200-passenger has 4 coming and going a day, but is often canceled in the weather situation.

Probably I think all hotels(a private house providing bed and meals:民宿) in an island to be the number of in total around 200-300 Bet.

In addition, there are not the hotels of the stay type resort in this island, too. And there is not the tourist attraction, too.

However, it is a solitary island attracting traveling alone of the woman, young men of the backpacker and young families. It is the island where untouched nature wraps up a traveler softly.

Bon Voyage! Love ya!

Thank you very much!
