Pretty clever!, is that * Lady Blyth* taking a look at the view from the view?
Marvelously fecund sessile oahs and neighbours ~ champion sight!
Her ladyship was roughing it in the boat next to me - what a silly idea to sit at the front - we got soaked!
ps: I was 3 years old when the lens was made!
I'm not sure I understand all the banter on this yan, but nonetheless I am surprised by the a)steepness of the landscape and b)the number of crags evident.
Now neither of these things should be surprises to me considering how long I lived thereabouts and climbed on yonder crags.
Keith if it is any consolation, I am still using equipment that was made the same day I was born!
Cheers my friends - David in the mountains of North Carolina
Mmmmmm, come to think of it Davud, I still use the equipment that I was born with, but in a slightly 'modified, fashion!!!
The crag in question is 'Surprise View', a weel known viewpoint to visitors who do not have trouble with vertigo (see why).
I have not climbed any of these crags, remember I was a 'crag-rat' so rope and caribs were beyond my ken!.....lots of close-by sots have felt the sole of me boots and me knees, elbows, fingas and some of me softer bits though!! Keepahowld young David, memories live on...
I don't use the equipment I was born with very often these days! Er........ thanks chaps!
