Oh no, that's not the sort of Christmas present you have wished for!
Join the club, Mats:-( I managed to break my ankle several years ago in Torres del Paine, another Pano friend broke his leg in France and had to be airlifted back home, one Pano friend slipped and broke his ankle in front of a baker's shop.... now you - such bad luck.
I wish you a speedy and complete recovery and a happy new year with lots of kayaking to look forward to!

Cheers, Gudrun

Thank you Gudrun for your kind wishes. I will do everything I can to recover, we like the active life and now feel a little bit captured. But you can always be unfortunate with accidents or sickness, you never know when it happens, and our goal is to catch the day as long as you can. Greetings, Mats.

I know about feeling a bit captured- it takes a lot of patience but it will pass! In the beginning it's doctors, physiotherapy and not much else, but give it half a year and it will be so much better! Cheers, Gudrun
