|*|!! Just the kind of dark backlight shot that I like! And the rays of the sun add their own special effect. Very cool shot!

This is a stunning shot (amongst all your other stunning images)do you have a great eye for an image and use some really imaginative angles. I have just discovered HDR for myself. Do you use a single shot from RAW or multiple shot's?

Thank you Martin for your kind comments. I'm also relatively new to HDR and have had the best results with multiple bracketed shots, 3 shots +/- 1 stop, with the camera set to auto bracketing mode, I'm still experimenting with using RAW files. Some of the software packages also produce Pseudo HDR made from a single shot!!! I notice our photo categories are very similar and look forward to viewing your results. Husker

Hi Again. 1st thing I noticed was our similar categories Thank you for your comments about my images I must admit to finding Digital a bit strange compared to 35mm black and white as I am still used to seeing my images in B&W in my viewfinder and find shooting in colour quite awkward still. I have been looking for a good colour technique as I am not that technically minded when it comes to image making. And I think HDR is it :) If you are interested I have a website it is
www.hansonphotography.me.uk
I hope you can view the site as some people have a bit of a problem with it

Hi Martin, I managed to view your site and you certainly have an impressive gallery of b/w photos. I can also see the similarities between HDR and the Bromoil process. "Dynamic Photo HDR" software contains a b/w channel mixer and Orton effects, and its very easy to use! http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html
