You have to stop at the cafe on the top....if it's still there and have a coffee and a bacon sandwich before you get back on the bike.

I used to be engaged to a guy who had a cottage in ALston where we used to stay for the weekend....only about 10 minutes from the cafe, but still had to stop there before heading to the Lakes.
