Hi Terry Our nearest town is Axminster which is on the River Axe and which holds Brown Trout, seasonal Sea Trout and the occasional Salmon. We are about 8 km from the sea. The water looks perfect for dry flies. I will keep you posted on progress. Regards Bill

Yes I would think so. Apparently the water is too low at present and only small fish are holding in the pools. Once the water rises Sea Trout and Salmon come upstream. I am still trying to find a club to join (all full at present) as access to water is not easy. I will send you a pic of my first fish. I caught a couple on the River Test a few years ago!
