Used for storage now, this place was the intended site that was to be used in time of Nuclear war. From here, the whole of Wales would be governed. Decisions would be made on food, transport, and all of the other things that a destroyed whitehall government wouldn't be able to make.

Many a year ago (probally 80s) we hung out round there, found bullet in storage and occasionally food sups &once gun parts. The one shown is the newest bunker part of another seven. We called them the A-tex-us.

the bombs or large shells that where made here so many from each batch taken to coytrahen where they were exploded to make sure that they were not faulty there is a largeditch there to this day with a concrete block covered in thick steel that i think the shells where dropped onto , there is also a cave there that has been concreted over to stop people getting in , my grandfather worked in the munitions factory and i still have a old ammo box that came from there that he used to keep his tools in, and i keep my tool init to this day
