Well - The actual "holy ark" is gone. Some people believe it is hidden in Ethiopia. Most of the "second temple" holy "stuff" were taken by the romans and might be hidden somewhere in Italy. As for this place - it was the "city" of the high court/ parlament ("Sanhedrin") after jerusalem was destroyed in 70 ac. Maybe I will find there interesting things...
