Thankyou tom610. It is actually one of our 'Lake District' lakes up here in Cumbria. In my opinion, the most beautiful. This has been taken a few years back now in one of it's usual stormy but distinctive days. The original is on slide. I have a wide version of this also and sometime wonder whether I should try that here instead? Enjoy ... Herb in England
Yes HERB try that wide version!I expect that will more spectacular.this one allready is.
Thanks again for your visit and comment FEITSE. Will try to look out for that wide version. Glad you like this. Cheers to you in Holland, Herb
Moody, magnificent and yet beautiful at the same time! Brilliant capture. Best wishes, Andy. ys+l.
Another nice stormy one from you. I like ones like this. It looks like it was taken in winter with what looks like bits of snow on the tops.
All the best John.
Andy, apologies for missing this in April. Many thanks for the double YS&L. see my comment to John below:
John, hi again. I love the way that you seem to go back years in my gallery to find what you like! This was one of my favourites from the days of slide and you may notice nearly three years since the last comments on here. Indeed it was taken near Easter if my memory is correct. Must have been an early one for the snows still to be present. Like you two, I love these atmospheric landscapes made by our characteristic weather. Will have to hunt down my wide version as promised above!
Did you ever find that wide version,herb.:-)
What a sky.
Jack - well here I am at last trying to address your question above. I eventually found the 'same named' slide, taken just moments before or after this one. I have provided you a link so that you can compare the two. Let me know what you think. Very happy, of course, that you liked this.
Kyriakos, vielen dank dafür.
Best wishes, Herb
