The software used was Pixmaker, don't think they are around any more. Did you spot the bus with the multiple personality?

haha no i didn't spot that, it's really well made panorama, i,m playing with adobe elements6 panorama maker right now, it's not as good as this, although a lot of that it is me struggling to keep an even exposure over the pan, i did get a huge 24megapixel image from a 6mp camera, of city chambers that worked out well, but when it comes to panning across buildings it struggles a bit.

I find creating panoramas to be a bit hit or miss, some work well like the George square one but others don't. The camera used for all my Panoramio photos was a Nikon Coolpix 990. The pixmaker software generally manages to cope with differences in exposure between frames and it also just happened to have a nikon setting that worked well and required little manual tweeking. The same can't be said for my current Canon EOS and the panorama software that came with it. It needs a great deal of messing about with to get the joins right. I have quite a lot of joined up pics at http://www.drookitagain.co.uk/coppermine almost all from the old Nikon camera. If you look for the QE2 pics they are the Canon using its software.
