I was born in Odda but I lived in this red house from 1961-72.My uncle and his family live there still. They are glacier guides.

My grandmother lived in Odda and her last name was Buer. I hope to visit some day and see where she was born. I have family from the U.S. who have visited the Buer Farm and still have relatives who live in Odda. It looks very beautiful.

My mothers family name is Buer. Mabu we are related? My grandfathers name was Jørgen Buer. His parents name was Ola og Anna Buer. They buildt this house as a small hotel.
