Beautiful lighting on the Mt. Angel Abbey! The gray clouds behind it really make a stunning shot!
It was a real nice evening. For the lighting. Cold and windy though..
Alot has changed at the Abbey since I was there last..
Beautiful Gallery and Nice Shot!! Greetings from France MY APRIL CONTEST
Hi Michael, I enjoyed looking at your photos. We seem to like a lot of the same subjects.
SCVA is a good customer of mine and they like to buy a lot of the things I enjoy shooting so it's been a good connection.
I see you do some HDR shooting and panoramics. Digital photography has opened some very useful doors for me and, it seems, for you also.
Oregon is a wonderful subject! I fell in love with Oregon in the 80's looking through Ray Atkeson's "OREGON BOOKS".
Through E-bay I 've been able to reconnect with all those images ( I own almost all his books now :) )
and now I'm able to express how I feel through my eyes and my camera.
It's been kind of interesting this past year for me. I sold my first image, The Jensen Arctic Museum at WOU auctioned off 3 of my images at the Salmon Bake. They even had me shoot for an exhibit in the Hamersly Library. and next Thrusday I'll have 2 images of WU at the Mission Mill on exhibit.
I would have never thought that people would have been this interested in my photos.
At anyrate, I love doing Panoramics the most. HDR has been a love hate relationship. When it works for me it's like WOW!. I've had alot of fun with the creative aspect of it but now I want to create more realistic images with it.
I've jib jabed long enough.
Thanks for being apart of the Panoramio family. It's nice to see the potential in so many photographers work.
Greetings from Slovenia!
