What a gorgeous picture of Garden of the Gods! It looks like you were there at the crack of dawn!
:-) No Margot the crack of dawn is the one on the left, we were there about 2.00 pm, so we had to use the early afternoon crack
We miss you...... when will you (and Joy) start posting again?
This place was recommended by a friend out East...... I hope we find more GREAT locations on our trip out here.
Many thanks for your nice words - David - from out East!
Looks warm. Going to take a lot of snowfall to cover it.
Nice shining clouds back there.
Which one is the apple tree, where is the ambrosia?
It WAS warm Sixten - then it snowed!
Its better now......... :-)
Best wishes from 12C Colorado!
I love the beautiful mountains of rocks .
A great picture.
Thank you Gyöngyi my friend.
Best wishes - David
Your photos have been becoming more and more incredible! The things you can do with a DSLR amazes me! Keep it up!
All the best to you from Georgia,
Liam you say that and thank you, but your knowledge of the natural world takes some beating! We had a bird fly at our window today - here in Colorado - and I left my bird book out East! Dagnabit!!!! I'm thinking LIAM "I need to get a picture to Liam to help me identify this".
No kidding that was today! -So thanks for calling by and leaving me a great compliment. You knew we were thinking of you!
Best wishes from a slightly warming high country - David
Great colours and sunburst David, and you know I can't resist a dramatic lump of rock! Like from me.
Many thanks Pete between us we'd only take pictures of rock and sunbursts!!!
Many thanks - David
Magic moment! YSL :-)
Hi David, a few months ago you visited my gallery and left a nice comment to which I somehow never managed to respond. So now, in my never ending quest to catch up I am finally doing so. I see you went to Colorado too among other places. It looks like you caught the kissing camels kissing the sun, although the angle makes it difficult to tell for sure. In any case a unique opportunity with a unique result. And yes I am back at Virginia Beach at least through the winter.
They were truly kissing the sun and I might steal that expression and use it for my title Mark - my wife (my creative consultant) spotted the sunburst opportunity and as usual she was right!
It sounds like you get around just about as much we are starting to do. Isn't it GREAT!
Thank you Käptn Iso very much.
Best wishes from a chilly Colorado - David
