The Cubs were in town to play the Nationals on a warm April evening at the new Nationals Park in SE DC. The facility is really amazing. The high-definition screen(mid frame above) is 4,500 square feet and the largest one of it's kind in the world. Unbelievable picture from just about anywhere in the stadium.
Note: Take the subway as the parking is scarce close to the stadium.
Oh, yeah...the Nats won in the bottom of the ninth with a walk off homerun.
Good capture Tom..
feels as if you are there... great detail..thanks for sharing
Cheers LM. It is my pleasure to share this with all.
Beautiful Gallery and Nice Shot!! Greetings from France MY APRIL CONTEST
I've been meaning to say for some time I hope they put this on GE - they're a bit over fussy about shots showing people sometimes - but pics like this realy give you the flavour of a place - very nicely balanced exposure/ composition, etc too. Graham
Hey Graham thanks for the visit and kind remarks. I know what you mean about GE being picky with humans in shots but I'm hoping they put this one through. Totally agree that the "flavour of a place" is accentuated by adding the human element sometimes. :)
Thank you Beth. This park is very impressive.
Best regards from Virginia, Tom
