This mansion in Bellevue, on the shores of Lake Geneva, about 5-6 miles from the city, was owned for many years by Bernie Cornfeld, CEO of the former ill-reputed "Investors Overseas Services" (IOS), a "pyramid" investment company operating like a Ponzi scheme! It was acquired in the 80s by the Algerian government and serves as their mission headquarters in Geneva.
