Nagyon tetszenek az ilyen épületek. Szívesen lennék itt diák. :) Nagyon hiszek abban, hogy bármit kell is tanulni, a hely levegője nagyban befolyásolja a mindennapi hangulatot. Az ilyen épületek valahogy egészen más hangulatot árasztanak, mint a betonból készült felvonulási épületeket idéző dobozok...

The ten original residential "colleges" built in the late '20s-early '30s, were indeed built on the Oxford Cambridge model--either neo-gothic or red-brick, white -trim Georgian. 2 new colleges were added in the early 60s--designed by Saarinen He respected the idea of cathedral ceiling-ed refectories but wanted the suites and single rooms in monastic off-white; the '60s soon saw the rooms painted in wild, often psychedelic colors...which drove him crazy when he found out. Space problems have caused talk of building 2 more colleges...but plans have been put on hold because of the financial crisis of 2008-09.
