Great photo nailhed Liked... Again another situation if those walls could talk, all the history that passed through this station never mind the bigger ones like, Grand Central, Union Station, etc..
well i hate to break it to you but if these walls could talk i dont think you would want to hear any of it. these are not train stations, these are "comfort stations"...something that Wayne County Roads / Parks came up with in the 1920s when they were developing the concept of roadside amenities for motorists. essentially, these are public restrooms.
a couple of them were designed to look like train stations though, yes.

also this particular area of Hines Park (Cass-Benton) used to be known as Beer Hill in the days of prohibition because there was an illegal distilling operation there that was packed up and hidden down the hill whenever revenuers would come by. in the '60s/'70s the name stuck, because it was a notorious party spot for kids
