Text to delete, after the photo is positioned correctly.
2006! It's quite a time ago! Sorry, I have positioned those photos only approximately. I am very grateful to people living there, who could correct the positions. After some time, I will delete those pictures, which can't be positioned correctly. Please, only correct them, if you are 100 % sure about the position. The last position is Churchhill, North of Letterkenny.
More photos of Donegal on my second album.
Many thanks to all! As a little guideline, I have put the time, I photographed them. My thanks and greetings to all! May

Hank, thank you! I am pretty sure about this one, so I'll leave it in any case. I have put another similar photo and more, I have seen someone else's from the same place.
Thank you, Ancsa! I am glad you like them, I know, how much you love Ireland! :)
Greetings to both of you, May

I love your photos from Ireland, a place I'don't know and touches me, perhaps cause of my celtic ancestry (Asturias, Trentino), thanks for sharing it

Edmundo, I feel happy that you like the photos! At first, I only put them up for my family, so that they might see about my journey, that's why I put the date. I didn't think, some of them would find so much response.
I am not surprised, that you feel drawn towards Ireland. There is some magic around it and I believe too, that the celtic heritage may have something to do with it, at least I am feeling close to Ireland as well.
I was in Ireland for my first time in 2006, hired a car and went all around the coast from Dublin to Dublin, never knowing where I would stay for the night. There are now about 500 photos only from Ireland in my Panoramio albums. I loved it in all parts, though in Donegal and North Ireland it rained most of the time. I loved it very much in Achill Island and down the West coast. If you are interested, you find the photos under the tags of the counties.
I went again last year, but haven't put up any of the photos yet, except a few. Thank you for visiting Ireland in my gallery!
Warm greetings, May

A beautiful photo, May, of that beautiful sad country. I am sorry I have not been by to visit sooner - you have some wonderful new posts! Best, alicia

Alicia, thank you for your very much appreciated visit and comments! Yes, there is a melancholy over this country. It doesn't leave the visitor untouched. One seems to feel the often sad history down through centuries and the breath of prehistoric times.
Best wishes, May
