Hey, I am just curious is this Big Meach Lake? Is there road access or did you portage to it via Mink lake? Thanks. adam

In regard to your comments of Feb 6/08 The orange flag and any other flags are constantly being removed. We acknowledge that it is crown land, however this truck trail/laneway/driveway and landing was forged by us some 25 years ago, paid for by us and is maintained by us for access to our owned Tanner Island, not by the Ministry of Natural Resoures as some think.

It would really be appreciated if you would take these directions off the site. We have problems with fire pits, garbage left behind etc etc along with theft and then the best joke is people complain about the condition of the truck trail. It would be nice if people respected our north land.

As requested I have removed the photo of your privately owned Tanner island. As for the road and landing,it is on public crown land and is clearly indicated on the Ministry crown land map. The Ministry recognizes that this access point is used, by the public, for fishing, hence the ministry signage, on site, advising the public of the zebra muscle invasion and prevention there of. Therefore you should take these issues ( firepits, camping, garbage etc. )up with the Ministry of Natural Resources. -Adam-

We know its crown land and open to the public and its there for all to enjoy, that's why we bought in the first place. So lets compromise--how about taking the explicit directions off and let people find it as they may.. We are already dealing with the ministry regarding our access.. vicky

As requested I have removed the instructions. If anyone needs directions to the lake email me, at adamwesley110@hotmail.com, but you will have to assure me that you will keep it tidy, and show absolute respect to the site and cottage owner.
