The Archer, Henry Moore's iconic bronze statue (1965) at Toronto City Hall. Mayor Ford still lurks in the corridors.....

The Archer, the most recognizable one of Henry Moore's statues in Toronto.

There is even a song about it by Murray McLauchlan (Down by the Henry Moore)

City Hall plaza, is in final stages of major 2 year reconstruction. They renovated the reflecting pool, concession building, washrooms and build a new permanent stage. Hopefully the next & best change will be a new Mayor!

The Archer was installed in Nathan Phillips Square in 1966.

If you open the photo, you will see what I mean, when I write that Mayor Ford is still lurking in the corridors!
