Hi May - Thanks for looking at my photos and for your very nice comments.
The road we were on here almost dissappeared, and there we were - face to face with a small herd of Highland cattle. Luckily, they seemed very peaceful, so I took a few photos and we half-drove/half-tiptoed our way down off the mountain. (Luckily the rental car survived!)
Oh, I understand, Ingawh! I've had a similar experience on a very narrow road in the West of Ireland on the cliffs, where I hadn't met any persons at all for 1 hour. Suddenly a whole herd of cows came along the way. It was impossible to let them pass, because the road wasn't any larger than my hired car, so I drove backwards until I found a place to turn and I left the beautiful location. :)
