One of my favourite places. A beautiful golden, sandy beach which is swept clean by the twice daily incoming tide...A two second exposure, in fading light, gives that wispy, watery appearance over the rocks. The green algae seems to grow thickly on the rocks closest to the shore. Above the sea-wall, top left, is a pay & display car-park from which the amazing "Cleveland Way" public footpath can be accessed. This 74 mile walk can be taken in easy stages and takes in some of the most beautiful coastal scenery and is, arguably, one of the most popular family walks in the UK.
