Ghost town of Mulline

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

One of many sall goldmining towns that were dotted along this road every few kilometers.. Mostly these towns were gazzetted between 1895- 1900. When the gold ran out these towns died soon after.

Yep, every 10-20 kms there is another billboard showing where ghost towns used to be...

I would love to have tony Robinson's Time Team come and do an Australian series in these parts..

Stuart Smith on November 15, 2013

Pity they are now disbanded.... (-:

Big pity, places like these need an Australian Time Team to go over the place...

Hi Mike, thanks mate.. Id love to dig and poke around these sorts of places longer but no ones going to pay me... :-(

spider52 on December 13, 2013

I think getting paid to do your passion sounds great, maybe we could form our own Ozzie team and call it "GOLD FEVER" complete with UBL's and just general lurking to uncover forgotten objects. There even be skulking with intent!
