Yes!! It works. Brilliant image.
Thanks Ian. I had to get pretty close to them - and as I got closer, the one on my end would turn to check me out before flying away. I almost ran out of terns before getting a shot.
Great Shot clickNZ,persistence payed off,well done,Cheers Craig :)
Thanks & greetings from New Zealand.
I followed your photos last year via the blue dots on google earth before I discovered I could see them all at once via Panoramio!!! This has been in my favourites since. Your photos of NZ are really beautiful and I hope you capture some of the wild weather of recent days. Snow on New Brighton Beach and perhaps Sumner???? I like the Port Hills photos also.
There was almost snow on the beaches here a few weeks ago. Problem is that if it snows that heavily, I'd probably never get my 4wd out of my driveway - this happened during a huge snowstorm in 1991.
This reminds me of when you leave your finger on a typing key too long and it goes tttttttttt! It's made even more wonderful by the fact that the lead bird is looking this way. Like 'The Arctic Tern 'turning'', in fact! Tee hee hee, I'm so witty, it's a wonder I don't fall off my chair. (Mind you, they do say you should never laugh at your own jokes, so I wonder if that applies to being 'witty' too.....probably does..sorry!)
Very best wishes to you,
Very cute how the first one terns its head towards to the photographer.
Very nice!! Cheers, Ippa :)
I just read Sue Allen's comment. Very funny!
Fame at last! :D
Tee hee hee! (your laughing was already famous, but maybe you hadn´t noticed it yet, Sue ;>)
