Girl, I can't say enough! What a fun-filled picture! There is so much to look at here! The obvious crowd on the log, of course, but all the activity in the water as well, and the beautiful houses all out in the background! Look at the little black & white pup on the boat with this fellow right near the log too! Wonderful! Was there a race or something going on, or were they all just out there for fun?
The little creatures are so cute, I just don't even know what to say about them! They are almost too cute for words. I can't help but smile seeing this. So much character!
It's a wonderful, most outstanding shot!
Beautifully captured by your splendid eyes!
I'm so glad you picked up on the 'boating' dog Mary Alice - he is one of the main reasons I was so glad to get this shot. I felt fortunate in just getting the kayaks and the turtles, but then boating dog slowly drifted into the frame, so I took the shot again. The kayaks appeared all in a bunch - I don't know if they were racing or not. Boating dog was doing his own thing, as were the turtles ;D. Thank you for noticing and your wonderful words! -alicia
Now thats what I would call.. a log jam!. At least boating dog has a lunch box and some wheels so he can still skedaddle when it gets too clogged up.
I like that, a "log jam" and the next time I get a photo of The Log, if you don't mind, it would be a great title (I would give you credits of course ;D). I'll let you know if I ever see boating dog and his lunch box skedaddling...;~~
Wow, I have never seen turtles in Greenlake, in 10 years! lol
You haven't?! Visit the west side of the lake where The Log still lies, Chandira, and if the sun is out, any season, you will see them sunbathing, for sure (take your camera ;-)). Thank you for visiting and the compliment! -alicia
Thanks for the tip-off! Next time I'm there I will take a look. :-)
