This unoccupied, still operational light is on the end of the southern breakwater or mole sheltering the entrance to Fremantle Harbour. It is made of cast iron and was commissioned in 1903.

The concrete structure behind it is the remains of a WW2 gun emplacement. The site is a short walk from the heart of Fremantle and can be freely visited.
