and thank-you, Bruce! Did you ever drive through Boston much before the elevated highway came down a couple of years ago? (the link is from the Boston Globe website - and is use for comparison in another article. But I think it's a fairly permanent one.) The fountain is the central part one of the parks along the new open space that replaces it.

I did do some driving in Boston while all the construction was going on but not much. I have never been up there after it was completed so I never saw this. It is lovely. Bruce

Thanks, Bruce! This fountain had actually only been opened to the public the week before I took the shot. Its really fascinating, ans is likely to be the subject of a lot of summer photos :-)
