Gabriel González Videla (* La Serena, 22 de noviembre de 1898 — † Santiago, 22 de agosto de 1980), hijo de Gabriel González Castillo y de Teresa Videla Zepeda, fue Presidente de Chile entre 1946 y 1952. Abogado egresado de la Universidad de Chile en 1922. Líder del Partido Radical, del cual fue electo presidente en 1937. Diputado por su distrito natal en los períodos 1933-37 y 1937-41. Nombrado Embajador en Francia en 1939. Senador en 1945. Candidato a Presidente de la República por la Alianza Democrática (radicales, comunistas y demócratas), fue electo en 1946.
Contrajo matrimonio con Rosa Markmann Reijer y tuvieron dos hijas.
