Wonderful composition Ian ! You talked this over with the helmsman certainly :-)) My best greetings, Tamás

Ian Stehbens on May 8, 2008

Dear Craig and Tamás,

I am pleased that you both appreciate the composition. It was a wonderfully peaceful and colourful place - a spot I hadn't previously visited.

One positions oneself, then hopes the boat hits the right spot in the composition. TAKE ONE. But with digital it is easy to just keep receiving images as it approaches, till it is right and then delete the others.

[It is great to have these little exchanges with photographers for you understand so well.]

I am sure, that you know, what I have thought, looking at this picture, Yan! Best wishes. Eva

Dear Eva,

If you were on this ferry, what joy would fill my heart! Keep your dream alive that one day music comes floating across this water too.

Lovely shot Ian Greetings from Tenerife

Ian Stehbens on May 16, 2008

Thank you Antonietta. Your album has introduced me to the abrupt coastal landscapes on Tenerife, for which I thank you, and what a contrast with this serene coastal landscape of broken Bay near Sydney!

Very nice shot. Greetings Marita

Ian Stehbens on May 19, 2008

Hi Marita,

Thank you for your response. It is so typically Australian and since you like it you must come. You would love it in real life. And there's a nice restaurant nearby waiting for you.

Kind regards,
