Old St James Church War Memorial, Dover, Kent, England, United Kingdom

The church of Old St James the Apostle was destroyed during World War II and the ruins are now a memorial to the people of Dover who suffered both bombs and shell-fire between 1939 and 1945. See separate photos of the West Door (left) and North Tower (centre). 14th Century White Horse Inn is separated from the church by Hubert Passage to the left; the churchyard, or cemetery once extended to the right.
