I have lived and loved with my wife Linda in Alaska for 33 years. First at Healy, near Denali Park, with our team of huskies. And now at Homer where we continue to be surprised and amazed by the beauty of this great land.
The park has been closed after sunset for decades now. In 2003, the Serra Cross Conservancy raised enough money buy the Cross area with a winning bid of $104,216.87. That prevented the religeous and historical landmark from becomming another victim of "seperation of church and state" activists. Today, it is a popular location for weddings that occur just about every Saturday. Pictured is another frequent visitor flying a RC glider.
